Dear Brothers and
Sisters in Christ,
St. Margaret Mary
Parish is a vibrant community consisting of over 2100 families.
August 17, 2009
marked the 44th anniversary of our Parish. Fr. Timothy Pugh,
our founding Pastor, was appointed Pastor of St. Margaret Mary on
March 19, 1968 by Archbishop Philip Hannan. Fr. Pugh remained
Pastor until his death in December of 1969. Fr. Richard
Carroll was appointed Pastor on January 17, 1970 and served as
Pastor of St. Margaret Mary for almost 30 years. Archbishop
Francis Schulte appointed me as Pastor on September 11, 1999.
Our parish is an
active faith-filled parish with a strong commitment to Eucharistic
Adoration. We have had 24-hour Eucharistic Adoration in our
chapel since 1983. Our school is a Blue Ribbon School
with approximately 700 students. We have over 50 active ministries
serving the needs of the parish.
I hope you find this
Parish website helpful. It contains useful parish information
as well as descriptions and scheduling info for many of our
ministries. Please take a moment to look at the list of
ministries to see if there is one you may be interested in knowing
more about or possibly joining. I invite you to share your
time, prayer and talent in supporting our ministries. Please
feel free to call the appropriate leader or the church office if you
would like to be involved.
With prayer for you
and all of your loved ones, I am
Sincerely in Christ,

Rev. Msgr. Lanaux Rareshide
Pastor
