Extraordinary Ministers of Holy
Communion
Men
and women of the parish, after meeting with the Pastor and
attending a seminar hosted by the Archdiocese, are certified for a
designated period of time to minister Holy Communion.
These lay ministers assist our parish in many areas:

By ministering the
Body of Christ and the Precious Blood at Masses on weekends, and
also at morning and evening weekday Masses. They may
assist setting up the bread and wine before Mass begins.
After Mass, they may assist in purifying the vessels used during
Mass. Mass assignments are coordinated by leaders,
and may change from Mass to Mass. |
